What are open source licenses? What is copyleft vs non-copyleft license? Why Drupal goes with GPLv2 and not with GPLv3? How can I choose an open source license for my code?
The above questions and many more were presented and answered on the local Drupal meetup on February 2016. Since open data and open source is not only part of our lives but also are part of our work (as web engineers) I tried to synopsize the current situation without going into details.
After the presentation we discussed about Drupal and other open source communities, about Linus Torvalds vs Richard Stallman, about copyright vs copyleft, about Europe vs USA policies for open data.
